Required Method

Confirmed opt-in, also called double opt-in, is the only acceptable list subscription method for bulk email activity on CARI.net services.

Single Opt-In Is Not Allowed

Single opt-in allows any person to add third-party addresses without consent. That creates spam risk and abuse complaints, so it is not permitted on CARI.net networks.

Double Opt-In Flow

• User submits email address through a form or signup flow.
• System sends a confirmation message to that exact address.
• Subscription activates only after explicit recipient confirmation.
• No further mailings are sent without confirmation.
